You call that a tribute?! They’ve been pumping up this Britney tribute for awhile. I’ve been seeing the commercial spots,and I waited for it,and before you know,*poof* it was over. The medley was nice,and the kids and teens dancing to her songs in replicas of her costumes,and doing her dances with the same choreography was okay,but really,thats the best you can do MTV?! It was so quick,I blinked and it was over. There were screens behind the dancers showing Britney’s video clips,but where were the screens (without the dancers distracting us),showing clips of Britney’s VMA performances,MTV New Year’s Eve performance,and her music videos? Where were the other artists who could say a few words about Brit,or sing one of her songs,as a tribute?! It was so awkward when Gaga was up in her face when Britney was accepting her award,and immediately her very brief acceptance speech was transitioned into an introduction for Beyonce’s performance. I think the “tribute” was so pathetic,quick,and disrespectful to Britney. She deserved more than just some unknown dancers dancing to her songs. Just my opinion. Oh and she looked beautiful,and I loved what she wore!!

 Some of the folks over at the MTV offices made a list of 11 things they would still be stoked to get for back-to-school. Would any of these be on your back-to-school list too? Almost all of em would have been on mine.
